Engender The current economic climate and associated public sector cuts are having a disproportionate impact on women, particularly those in the communities of interest that we are working with: refugee and asylum women, women with children living in poverty, unpaid carers and women with disabilities. In order to mitigate those impacts it is crucial that their voices are heard and that the organisations’ and agencies whose decisions impact on their lives have a clear understanding of the need for gendered policy and practice. |
