LGBT Youth Scotland The Voices Unheard project was established by a group of young people from LGBT Youth Scotland. Using peer research, the young people from Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Scottish Borders sought to find out lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people’s understanding, knowledge, and experience of domestic abuse in their families and relationships. A national online survey complemented our focus groups. |
Broken Rainbow (currently on hold) Broken Rainbow lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) domestic violence service (UK) is the first organisation dedicated to confronting and eliminating domestic violence within and against the LGBT communities. It was started in 2002 and became a registered charity in 2004. |
Scottish Transgender Alliance The Scottish Transgender Alliance was formed to address issues of prejudice and the lack of information and support for transgender people in Scotland. The Scottish Transgender Alliance membership is drawn from transgender individuals, community groups and allies engaged in developing work or delivering services for the benefit of transgender people throughout Scotland. We work to inform, equip and support transgender people, equality organisations, government policy makers and other employers and service providers to engage together to improve gender identity and gender reassignment equality, rights and inclusion in Scotland. |
Parents Enquiry Scotland Parents Enquiry Scotland is a voluntary organisation which provides information and support for parents whose sons or daughters have come out as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. It has been in existence for over 40 years. |
